I really like tattoos and several of my friends have ones which are mini works of art. But facial ones...?

I read the last word of that as "face" at first. To be fair that would have been a good insult.

Back in 2011 Mr Brooking was going on about his wonderful weight loss. This is what he looked like then -

He seems to be keeping quiet about it now.

Googling Mr Brooking is quite a fun way to waste half an hour. There's a jolly little trail where he left the Conservative party to join UKIP amongst great fanfares, only to bugger off back to the Tories when, in his view, Cameron and Osborne started making the right noises about the EU. I haven't discovered what happened when the awful realisation dawned that they were pushing for the Remain side in the referendum.

Then there are his views on the Cof E:

The Church of England have moved so far away from real Christianity it beggars belief. This is the same Bishop who vigorously opposed Brexit even though the EU are just as corrupt as Clinton and even have idolatrous satanic statues outside their HQ. Vote Trump!

Off to google the dreadful satanic statues.

Angry residents say noisy Portsmouth school is ‘as loud as Glastonbury’

People living around Hilsea’s Northern Parade schools say the site is noisier now than it has ever been – and that the area’s parking problems are at an all-time high.

Residents have described how the school plays ‘loud music’ early in the morning while the children exercise.

And they say they are left trapped in their homes at the beginning and end of the school day as parents clog the roads to collect their children.

Disgruntled neighbours, from Northern Parade, Doyle Avenue and Kipling Road, have inundated local councillors with complaints, claiming the woes will deepen when the school expands in September.

Steve Hobbs, 54, is self-employed and has lived in Northern Parade for 16 years.

He said: ‘Myself and a few other residents have been campaigning for weeks now. Parking, noise pollution –everything has been upped due to the school.

‘We have a lot of elderly residents in the area – one a couple of doors down from me is in her 90s – and the noise from the school in the morning is like being next door to Glastonbury or the Isle of Wight Festival. It’s a massive disturbance to the residents.’

Portsmouth’s education boss, Councillor Neill Young, said the city council had looked into the situation.

He said: ‘We’ve spoken to the head teacher and governors of the school and we’re satisfied that their morning activities for children are appropriate ways of encouraging a healthy lifestyle.’

Perhaps Young could perform his 35m feedback jam from his live Arc album especially for Steve and Colin

Have they not noticed that they can escape this dreadful trap by using those things called legs and walking on those paved things at the side of the roads where cars don't go?

Which, if Hilsea is anything like round here, will be blocked by hoofing great wankpanzers for the unloading of precious offspring.

I can well believe they feel trapped. There are two schools on my road and twice a day, 5 days a week, it's a fucking nightmare trying to get in or out, even on foot. Footpaths are only footpaths at the times when school-running wankers don't want them for car parks.
