While simultaneously condemning the BBC for sexism the Mail indulge in some more sexism:

Ex-Doctor Who Peter Davison blasts decision to make the Time Lord a woman as 'sad' and 'a loss of a role model for boys'

Remake Shaft and give the title role to a white man. All these fools who say how wonderful it is to have a female Doctor Who will suddenly have one big reason why it is wrong.

I'm sure those bores who keep trotting out the "They'll turn James Bond into a woman next...Jane Bond haw haw haw" line feel very proud of themselves and sit back smugly thinking they've made a brilliant and witty point. However, if anyone makes this fucking lame, illogical comparison between a definitively male role and a genderless space alien in front of me personally I can't be held responsible for my actions!

Pah! They'll be having female wombles next.

Oh. what's that you say? Ah well.

They''ll be having a woman Batman next.

Really? Batgirl? Ah well.

Well then, a woman Hamlet. Or a woman King Lear. How ridiculous is that ?

Look, I've never even heard of Sara Bernhardt, or Frances De La Tour. Or bloody Maxine Peake. And well, Glenda Jackson - she's a bloody MP, isn't she?

To be fair, I would pay a lot of money to watch Samuel L Jackson play Miss Marple

Here is the Nudes at Ten: BBC worker spotted watching a VERY inappropriate video on office computer over presenter Sophie Raworth's shoulder

The Mailites are taking this VERY seriously. Even the American readers are outraged on our behalf.

Who'd have thought readers of the Mailonline object to seeing boobs when they're looking at the news.

How are they this dumb at the Beeb? Everyone using those computers in shot must have been made aware that their screens were visible on TV and to be extra careful of what is shown on them. But evidently this is too complex an idea for the low-IQ booboos whose wages are paid by the "license" fee of Brits.

Al Gore justified in his criticism of the BBC's habit of inviting on a flat earther to provide balance to a round world scientist

Quote:
Al Gore said he was shocked after the BBC "engaged in climate change denial" this morning.

The former Vice-President was speaking to James O'Brien this morning to discuss his new film An Inconvenient Sequel.

Earlier in the day, he appeared in an interview on the BBC where Mr Gore was stunned to hear Lord Lawson, who was invited on to dispute scientific claims on climate change, despite having no scientific qualifications or training.

Mr Gore told LBC: "It's shocking how the BBC is engaged in climate denial, isn't it?

"I had a personal experience with it this morning. It's really shocking."

Mr Gore insists that the scientific proof is absolutely clear - and compared climate change deniers with the doctors that claimed tobacco did not cause lung cancer last century.

Between 97 and 99% of scientists agree that climate change is real and of the remaining 1-3%, Mr Gore said: "If you had chest pains and they increased and you were somehow able to consult with the 100 heart specialists in the world and 97% said 'You need to take this medicine, you need to change your diet, you need to make these other changes', would you wait to find two or three who said 'No, everything's fine, you've got nothing to worry about.' http://www.lbc.co.uk/radio/presenters/j ... te-denial/

A plonker rang in to defend Lawson because he was a journalist and is professionally trained in gathering data.

The Lawson interview rightly attracted criticism.

It's not necessary to go back to Doctors last century.

I understand that Lord Lawson (along with fellow travellers Kenneth Clarke and Lady Thatcher) are paid up Tobacco fans.

They're money fans. The tobacco is incidental.

Lawson is a very good debater which is why he is the go to guy to sell a shit sandwich made by Jimmy Saville. He's also man that first pushed May to go for an early election in order to strengthen her hand over Brexit. He's probably got some data to show that she has.

Not porn then...

My t**s made the news!' True Blood star Anna Paquin reveals it was HER breasts that made accidental appearance on BBC broadcast... when saucy nude scene aired in backdrop

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/ar ... s-Ten.html

I think the only appropriate punishment is to force whoever was watching it to endure True Blood's final season.

Could only happen at the BBC? Didn't the Mail make gay when an Australian news show had a similar fuck up with background screens all of two or three years ago?
