Someone at a small gathering I was at last night reckons that Corbyn is going to get elected by accident. Not many of those voting Labour will want it to happen, voting instead on a plethora of other issues, but he'll win as a result. Which would fit the pattern of Brexit and Trump.

Interesting question. What situation could cause this?

Ah, but then the people will rise up and there'll be rioting on the streets.

Yeah, there'll be some loud tutting on the streets of Peterborough that night.

Britain Elects published their 'nowcast' seats prediction yesterday evening:

CON 362 (+32)
LAB 206 (-26)
SNP 47 (-9)
LD 11 (+3)
PC 4 (+1)
OTH 20 (-1)

..........which is pretty much how I expect things to pan out. Although I suspect the SNP will retain most of their seats, and can see Labour slipping below 200 if they have a particularly bad night.

A hung Parliament where May hasn't even managed to persuade the DUP to support her?
