Galloway is standing in the Gorton by-election and is writing about it for Arron Banks' website. Riiight.

Yep, everyone's favourite BFF of Saddam Hussein is running in Manchester Gorton, and blogging it for "Westmonster". Which rather tells you everything you need to know. Could be good news for the Lib Dems if it splits the Labour vote.

Farage more or less appointed Galloway to go out and get the Asian vote for Brexit with a load of patronising drivel about EU FoM causing curry chef shortages. The industry association has already rumbled them as a bunch of lying weasels. I hope the cunt gets the door slammed in his face in the Asian wards. Another reason for Labour to select the MEP Afzal Khan who could fight off a Lib Dem challenge as well.

Galloway outlines his Gorton strategy to the alt-right: Labour's picked a Paki vote for me

Quote:
The “All-Asian short-list” hand-picked by Keith Vaz is just not good enough for the people of Gorton one of the most deprived constituencies in Britain. The short-listing, which excluded many better candidates, is the latest in a long line of insults delivered by mainstream parties to local communities. I will run as an Independent candidate and will write a regular by-election diary for Westmonster. http://www.westmonster.com/george-gallo ... er-gorton/

I still think Labour will just about scrape home in Gorton. If they don't it will be one hell of an upset, they have held it since 1935

Isn't that about how long they'd held Copeland for?

Think youre right. Manchester is a big Remain area, don't know if that will make any difference

Unlike Copeland, Labour's vote share had a very healthy boost last time out.

Copeland ought to have been safe, but it wasn't anything like as safe as this one. Inner city seats have been trending Labour. Young professionals, students, ethnic minorities, plus you can see improvements in cities in the way you can't so easily in smaller post-industrial towns.

It's been pointed out that Jez congratulated Galloway in 2012. Against a Labour candidate who was against the Iraq War.

What a clown. There's literally no news story that can't be tied to a fuck up, by him, is there?

UKIP and the Tories haven't got a hope in hell in Manchester. The main fight will be Labour v Lib Dem, Galloway will simply be a distraction. Hes quite a good speaker, but comes across as extreme and generally a bit of a dick

Comparing himself to Matt Busby certainly backs up the last part of your assertion.

What a break for Labour if Galloway mouths off enough that Jez is really backing him.

Yeah there quite a few left-wingers who went around saying that before the election the fact that Trump has increased drone strikes and approved action in Yemen, shows they were talking bollocks.
