This is the sort of case that the police caution was designed for, surely? Then a full charge if he re-offends.

Meanwhile in Belgium...

The BBC are in search of a villain, the terrorists are not enough, and they have decided the Belgian/French police and security are to blame for the Brussels bombings.

They were leading the news this morning with a story about how the terrorist picked up last week was shown photographs of, among many others, the two brothers who a week later would carry out the suicide bombings and, wait for it, the man said, 'Na mate, never seen them two geezers before, honest'. This, according to the excitable hacks at the BBC, showed that the Poirot-lites over the Channel missed an opportunity.

Gene Hunt would have sorted out that scrote, make no mistake.

The BBC then went to Belgium where they interviewed a Belgian who is ex-police and is now a security consultant. It was put to him how fucking incompetent you Johnny Foriegners are. To be fair to the man and in the way you might reassure a child who just had a nightmare he patiently explained how things work in real life.

OMG! The threat level in Plucky Belgium has now been raised to Mariah! Apparently La Carey* considers the situation to be so dangerous that she has cancelled her performance there.

* Mariah Carey is an American songstress m'lud and popular among the lower orders.

I recall after 9/11 it was divas and loud mouthed rappers and rockers that cancelled. Among the US artists who didn't bottle it are what you might call liberal new country gals like Alison Kraus and the Dixie Chicks who look like they wouldn't say boo to a goose.

So, the very silly Matthew Doyle isn't up before the beak today, after all. Will the Met also be reported by the BBC as red-faced and bungling?

The holding of breath is inadvisable.

Bruce "Die Hard" Willis refused to fly for a while, too. Easy to confuse the actor and their role, or the author and their characters, I know, but a tad ironic, don't you think?

You realise that you've just written Littlejohn's next column, don't you? I'd give Copyright Theft Lawyers 4 U or Irwin Mitchell's royalties payment specialist a call, pronto.

Oh fucking hell

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldne ... atest.html

Quote:
A security officer at a Belgian nuclear plant has reportedly been found dead with his work pass stolen. This disturbing development, revealed by the newspaper Derniere Heure on Saturday and not yet confirmed by officials, follows concerns that the Brussels bombers wanted to build a radioactive dirty bomb — but apparently shelved the plan after security was stepped up at Belgium’s nuclear plants following intelligence warnings.
The security officer was murdered on Thursday evening as he walked his dog in the city of Charleroi, but news of the killing only emerged on Saturday. His pass was quickly cancelled, according to officials.

Poor sod (if it's true, since it hasn't been confirmed).

Mr Fenton has taken the Mail to task about jumping on the nuclear scaremongering bandwagon.

Reminds me, I must get a new pair of nutcrackers before Christmas. Sorry, Winterval.

You're on your way to work or possibly visiting friends, going home or perhaps to a job interview. It could be anything. You are consumed by your own thoughts. Perhaps you're thinking about running some spring onions through the mash tonight or reconsidering a bunch of SPSS outputs. It's called being alive.

And then nothing. Absolutely nothing. You probably didn't even register the flash let alone have time to internally compute the full force of what has, in an instant, changed forever the lives of everyone you know and love. You have been violently disassembled. These are not your remains. This is the same you except that this you has been scattered an indeterminate area and intertwined with the flesh, muscle and various organic matter of whomsoever also found themselves holding the same lottery ticket.

It will take a while because the piecing together of your shattered jaw or the reading of your charred official papers is a painstaking process but, in the fullness of time, you will be "named" and your picture will be in all the papers. Doubtless, it will be of you smiling with the tell-tale rosiness of cheek that shows you made the most of your first day in Lanzarote. You will look so fucking normal that there will be a disconnect in many people's minds. They will simply not understand the political, social and criminal phenomenon that led to your becoming a macabre jigsaw for the purposes of burial or cremation. They will find it just too difficult to grasp and probably post a picture of a woman's breasts on the internet.

Absolutely, Kreuz, and thanks for saying it.
