I hear that the mood has changed. Orange men are toute la rage in the UK.

Holy carp! Grandstanding and toadying taken to stratospheric heights. It's like they've been told what to say by a psychopathic despot...

Donald Trump just held the weirdest Cabinet meeting ever

Puts you in mind of when the Bond villain has got his henchmen round the table and they can not report anything negative as the response will be "you have failed, this organisation does not tolerate failure" and Blofeld pulls a lever and sends him into a tank of sharks.

Has an aquarium full of great whites been installed under the cabinet room? We need to know

That's odd. No tweet about Finsbury Park? Now, why could that be?

Regarding Jared's speech.
It looks as through they'll be closing their datacentres and putting things in "the cloud*".

It reminds me of hype I've heard before every disappointing outsourcing initiative.

NYC's Shakespeare in the Park has been staging a Trump version of Julius Caesar. Trump supporters stormed the stage to protest as this lefty garbage portraying the assassination of POTUS. Plenty of amusing Tweets to come.

I expect Shatner and Stewart to maintain Mr Sulu's quality

Dear Trump Supporters: Stop calling for boycotts of "this playwright behind Julius Caesar." He's rather dead. For the last 400 years.

In further bad news

https://www.vox.com/2017/6/20/15843864/ ... l-election

Quote:
SANDY SPRINGS, Georgia — Democrat Jon Ossoff ran a campaign with unprecedented support from national grassroots donors, faced an opponent with a controversial history at a popular charity, and managed to escape a turbulent six-month race relatively scandal-free.

It wasn’t enough.

On Tuesday night, Republican Karen Handel carried Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District. The race was called for her by the DecisionDesk and Dave Wasserman of the Cook Political Report at a little before 10 pm, as well as by CNN.

Democrats will spin Tuesday night’s loss as a product of the Georgia Sixth’s historically Republican leaning. They’ll note that former Rep. Tom Price won the seat by more than 20 points this fall, and that Democrats haven’t held the seat for several decades. All of that is true.

I have nothing to add but just wished to express my delight at the phrase "Bollockchops". That is all.

Tell you something I don't get about the Republicans. They are mostly rabid bible bashers, yet totally fail to get that axing healthcare etc will leave millions of poor people destitute as they won't be able to pay for medical treatment.

Jesus would not have liked this, and if he was to return to live amongst us, I doubt very much that he would watch Fox News or read The Daily Mail.

Basically, if you're rich, it's because you're a good person and god wants you to be rich. If you're poor, it's because you're a bad person and god wants you to suffer.
