I reckoned Troughton was the best Doctor Who. The worst was presumably Sylvester McCoy.

He has a history of not being able to distinguish between a nation's people and its government. Remember, George wasn't kissing Saddam's arse, he was praising the Iraqi people.

Emma Burnell has a good article on Galloway

http://labourlist.org/2013/02/george-ga ... e-problem/

Ignore the cunts in the comment section though

Also it turns out that Galloway is willing to bend his own rules when it comes to certain Israelis

Looks like Georgie is considering having a bash at Mayor of London.

I suppose the logic must be if Boris can do it, anybody can.....

His constituents in Bradford must be delighted.

Good piece here on Respect's latest meltdown. The comparison with UKIP is interesting.

Godfrey Bloom- "A gin and Jag stockbroker belt bigot." I think I'll nick that one.

Just as a broad consensus seems to be developing about the government's over-lenient stance on Israel, Galloway of course has to pull things too far in the opposite direction:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/george-galloway-declares-bradford-an-israelfree-zone-9653894.html

No apparent recognition that some Israelis may oppose the occupation. He should read Haaretz more.

The travel agents in Tel Aviv are shitting themselves at the loss of the lucrative Bradford package destination.

As a friend pointed out, most people who live in Bradford don't want to be in Bradford. Loss of Israeli tourism isn't going to hurt them. Galloway, as ever, is just making himself look a bit of a twat.

I don't know much about Bradford, but I'm pretty sure it's not all one constituency. Can George Galloway really make such a decision for the whole of Bradford, without the input of the other Bradford MP(s)?

(what am I saying, of course he can't, he's just being a tough guy as per)
